Active Kids Soccer League U-10, it's time to play soccer games with confidence

For us, to play soccer games is just part of what all this is about. The relationships formed on the field will never be forgotten. The competition inspired within is healthy. These are where life lessons are learned.

Our U-10 age group here at the Active Kids Soccer League is where preparation and skill comes together. Dribbling, shooting, receiving, heading and passing the soccer ball are all worked on each week with the goal that it will be second nature during the soccer games.

Fitness and discipline are incorporated to prepare the players for the next level of the sport. Games are coached by Coach Darin while strategy and team play is analyzed and corrected. This is the group that wants to learn and where you can really see players grow.

We're not simply playing soccer games but learning about what we have on the inside.


Dear parents,

Here are the U-10 practice, game schedules and rosters. I know we have had some questions early on about what, how and where our U-10 group would play. I have decided to stay with the format on your schedules. I want everyone to know that I want what's best for all the players. I also appreciate everyone's desire to play for me.

I've tried to make the season challenging and fun. I will be passing out a questionnaire later in the season to help us figure out what to do for the U-10 next season.

Don't forget your practice night and bring your ball (size 3). Always wear your shin-guards (under your socks) to every practice and game. Don't forget to bring your water!
Key game rules are as follows:

Player get half of gameGame duration- 2/25 minute halves with 5 minute 1/2 timeNo offsides
This season we will be playing on our new AKSL field, located at 55 Liles Dean Road, Wendell (behind ABC Land daycare). We will be notifying you by email or calling post when uniforms are ready and available for pick-up.

As in previous seasons, we will be using a phone messaging system, calling post, to inform you of cancellations due to weather, etc. If you are unfamiliar with calling post, you can go to there website www.callingpost.com and find out more information, as well as, receive a sample call. We will also post items here on the site.
